You will be creating a close working relationship with each client and working with the CIO and team to ensure we can achieve success. This includes the responsibility of documenting all procedures related to identification, prioritization and resolution of incidents, including the monitoring, tracking and coordination to make sure our clients have a positive experience with their technology.
What You'll Be Doing...- The Information Technology Assistant will Set up and remove temporary equipment when needed for meetings, presentations and trainings.
- Configure and install new equipment, such as desktops, laptops, monitors, network printers, etc. according to prescribed checklists and procedures.
- Provide general equipment maintenance and assist in maintaining inventory of workstations, software and peripherals.
- Assist in completing help desk tickets as assigned. Assist users in understanding available help desk services.
- Perform associated administrative/documentation tasks as assigned; refer more complex problems to Help Desk Technician and Lead IT Technician.
- Serve as backup to other IT team members when needed. Receive and document new/used equipment and supplies.
- Assist IT staff with creating/terminating user accounts and access according to prescribed checklists and procedures.
- Develop and maintain relationships with customers that further enhance RYCOMM’s positive reputation through exceptional customer service.
- Evaluates, responds to and resolves requests for computer assistance from users experiencing problems with hardware, software, networking, and other computer-related technologies
- Maintains and documents hardware and software inventory, equipment passwords, and software installation settings
- Trains end-users and members of IT on various technologies by providing instruction and documentation
- Researches new technologies and makes recommendations to ensure the IT team will meet current and future business needs and objectives
- Assists in relocating employees, departments, and offices, including the disassembly and reassembly of office technology and workstations
- Experience supporting day-to-day office infrastructure, including network, video conferencing and teleconferencing support
- A variety of other duties aligned with your unique skills, as our organization and its obligations, expand and evolve
- Maintain discretion and client confidentiality at all times.
What Really Gets Us Excited About You?- Experience with A+ Certification and Network+ Certification preferred.
- High School diploma required.
- Must be proficient in Microsoft Office products
- Experience supporting Windows and Mac operating systems
- Solid understanding of network protocols, infrastructure and device configuration
- Experience with Desktops Windows 10 and below, Some Apple and smartphones
- Ability to collaborate with tech support staff, software engineers, developers, and vendors
- Team player willing to fill in when and where needed
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, and a strong attention to detail
- Reliable transportation
- Be able to respond appropriately to changing priorities in a fast paced environment.

The Details.Schedule: General office hours are Monday to Friday 8:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. Some weeks may also contain days that require earlier or later start and finish times or weekend or on call hours, so schedules can be adjusted accordingly.
